This morning, 3rd and 4th class enjoyed learning about waste and recycling and its transformation over time. Sarah, from Clean Ireland Recycling, showed us what happens in recycling plants and why it is so important to recycle. Everyone had fun playing the waste segregation game, where we had to identify what items go into the general waste bin, recycling bin and the food caddy. We were given certificates for doing an excellent job and booklets with lots of information and games.
