On Friday last, September 28th, our school football team played its first football match of the year against Kilcornan. The team got off to a blistering start and quickly took the lead thanks to well-taken, opportunistic goal. Kilcornan dominated the rest of the half and were up at the break. Our team showed great resilience and determination in the second half and scored 2-2. Despite their great effort, the boys and girls unfortunately lost out to Kilcornan in the end. On Friday next, they will play against Athea in Athea at 12:30pm.
