Today, October 25th, the children of Killoughteen NS again made brilliant costumes from recyclable materials for our Halloween dress up. We saw everything from cereal killers, artists, army tanks, haunted houses and Mr Tayto to name but a few. The imagination and creativity of the children was excellent. Well done to our winners who were presented with a €25 voucher for O Connors toy shop in Newcastle West.

Sincere thanks to Sean Shiels, who came in to judge the costumes. Sean is the art teacher in the Desmond College. He was very impressed with the work and told the boys and girls to keep up the good work.

Please see a selection of the photos taken of the pupils below. Well done everyone. Enjoy the mid-term break.
