I would like to share with you all a piece of news based on our school which came from the ‘Limerick Chronicle’ newspaper dated Thursday, January 12th 1961.
The school had 85 pupils and they were withdrawn from school reluctantly by their parents due to the poor state of repair of the school building.
After this a new build was granted which is now the old part of our school which was built in 1963. The children at this time were in a building that had been constructed in 1880.
