Today March 26th, we held our Easter Table Toppers Competition. It was again highly exciting and nerve wracking for our contestants. All teachers, through a competitive process had chosen three contestants to represent their respective classes.
All 3 contestants from each class came together in the school corridor. They were all seated by class initially. We got the top 3 whittled down to 1st 2nd and 3rd place for each class. There was an excellent display of maths tables as all classes made it through five rounds of questions to the Sudden Death questions. The competition was was completed via Zoom, so that all classes from 1st to 6th could see their class peers. There was great excitement in the classrooms but where the contestants were, you would hear a pin drop!
In the second part of the competition, we had one contestant from each class trying to be the overall champion so that their class would attain the title of Champion Table Toppers!
Again, this part of the competition showed fantastic tables knowledge Huge congratulations to all contestants who made it through to represent their classes. Today, it was Gabriel Buda who took the title of CHAMPION! He won the title for second class. WELL DONE GABRIEL!!!
