For Science Week 2021, the theme was “Our future homes”. The children explored the properties of an energy efficient house. The children researched the features of a home with an excellent BER rating. The children then applied their knowledge to design and make a 3-D model of their new home. The Killoughteen pupils thoroughly enjoyed working collaboratively and were very proud of their finished products.
