Fire engine visits Killoughteen NS

Today, 21/10/2016 juniors had ‘THE BEST DAY EVER!’ as we welcomed three local firemen to our school. Evan Egan came into  our class and showed the children all his equipment used to fight a fire. Then we all wen out and met Sean Browne and Eoin Madigan, two other firemen. We were allowed to go into the fire engine and put on the helmets, and see where all the firemen sit. We got a go at using the water hose. It was cool. We washed Miss Casey’s car. It was a great day.
