Term 2 sees the start of Hurling & Camogie training and competitions at the school.
School Indoor Hurling Competition
We held an indoor hurling tournament for 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes during lunch times in January / February 2025. The children were divided into teams and each team represented a county in Ireland.
Congratulations to our Winners representing Waterford – Joey Liston (C), Ilinca Balan, George O’Sullivan, Owen O’Connor and Millie Foley.
Cumann na mBunscoil Indoor Hurling
On 4th March our 4th class boys competed in Cumann na mBunscoil indoor hurling tournament at NCW community centre. Well done to the boys who played brilliantly and got through to the final.
On 11th March our 4th and 5th class girls were out for the Cumann na mBunscoil indoor camogie tournament. Well done to the girls for a great team effort.
Mackey Cup & Eithne Neville
Congratulations to Oisin O’Connor, Michael McGowan and James Shine on their selection for the Mackey Cup west hurling team and to Freya Smith on her selection to the Eithne Neville west camogie team.
We wish them all the best of luck in their upcoming games.
