3rd Class went on an interactive journey into the past recently in Newcastle West Library. The show was called ‘Irish History Live’ by Michael Moylan. Michael told the children all about the ancient people from the Neolithic period right up the Romans! The children really enjoyed the show and got to dress up as Stone Age hunter gatherers, Celtic warriors, Roman soldiers and much more! They also got the chance to make fire and engage in battles using shields and swords!
