On Friday August the 27th, the pupils in 5th and 6th classes went for a walk on the local Greenway. This is a fantastic resource in the vicinity of the school.

We all left the school and walked up to the top of Barnagh, into the new underpass under the N21, and  towards the renovated station house. Then we walked along to the haunted tunnel of Barnagh before having a small break in Barnagh Gardens.

Here we had an ice-cream before heading back to school. Our pupils will be learning about the Great Southern Trail in their history this year.
