Extra Curricular Activities
Pupils at Killoughteen National School are encouraged to take part in sport. Games such as hurling, gaelic football, soccer, camogie, girls football and basketball are played. Each year pupils in the senior classes participate in the 9 a-side hurling and football leagues. In this way students are given an opportunity to develop their talents and personalities. Games also help to develop their team work and leadership skills.
