This year on September 24th Killoughteen NS held a school walk in the Demesne in Newcastle West. This walk was excellently organised by the Parent’s Association on the day. To begin with Kate Upton did a great job getting the boys and girls warmed up in the community centre with some Zumba dancing. Afterwards we took a quick group photograph before heading off on a walk around the Demesne. The weather was lovely and mild. All parents and pupils had opportunities to meet and chat along the route. There was a great turn out on the day. Afterwards there was some lovely goodies with tea and coffee back in the community centre served by our very supportive parent body. Sincere thanks to everyone who helped out in any way for making this such a great success. Míle Buíochas to Willie Sullivan in the community centre also.
