Christmas Carol Service

This year we had a Christmas concert. It was held in Newcastle West church. We got a lot of help from Jamie Hurley. The concert was to help raise money for a school defibrillator. We learned a lot of old and new Christmas songs. We all had to wear our school uniform and a Christmas hat. The practise leading up to the concert was very exciting. We had about twelve practises with Jamie before the big night. The people that could play an instrument learned songs and played them at the mass. The fifth and sixth classes sang ‘Love Will Set You Free’ and Chloe Beasley and Niall Doherty played the guitar as we sang at the start of the night. Overall, we had a brilliant night and we raised enough money to buy the defibrillator for our school.   We are so thankful to all the teachers and Jamie Hurley.
