On Thursday May 3rd, the West Eithne Neville team played in the Gaelic Grounds. There was a panel of 22 players including two players from Killoughteen NS, Caoimhe Smith and Kate Foley.

At 3:30pm, the west team played the City team in the semi-final. It was a tough game but the west team pulled through and had a great victory.

After an hour of a break it was time to play in the final against the South. Again, it was a hard game, but we had a lot of the possession. At half time we were tired but we knew that if we wanted to win we would have to give all of our energy. We won with a final score of 5-6 to 0-0.

Tori Smit our captain got presented with the cup. It was a great day. We even met the one and only Eithne Neville herself. A big thanks to our mentors, Caitrín De Bhál, Elaine Kennedy and Noel O Connor. Well done girls.
