Today October 26th we went to see a show in the library called the ‘The Trouble with Fairies’ by Pignut Productions. We were really excited. It was the first school trip ever for Juniors in Killoughteen NS. We went on the buses to the Library in Newcastle West. Thank you to Helena Flavin for inviting us in.
We left school at 10:15 and landed in the library for the story at 10:30. J told us the story about the Fairy. It was really funny. We laughed all the way through. The Fairy had a really funny voice and she didn’t like J’s cat.
After the story, We walked to the town park and had lunch. We had loads of fun afterwards on the roundabout, zip-wire, slides, monkey bars and swings. It was great fun with all our friends.
Next we went to the soccer pitch. Martin opened up the gates and gave us lots of soccer balls and bibs. Juniors and seniors had lots of
races against each. It was great fun.
Suddenly it was 2 o’ clock and our parents came to collect us at the soccer field.
