Today, our school received a visit from Jason O’ Mahony, who works with a company called ‘Children of the Digital Age’. He visited all classes to give a talk about being safe online, which was very informative and engaging. He gave an information session for our parents at the school at 7:30pm.
It was a real eye opener. All parents were interested from beginning to end and very practical advice was given. Jason has been invited back again next year for Safer Internet Day which is February 5th 2019 and we hope to have a much better representation of our parent body present on the night. It is a very important presentation for parents of children in ALL classes.
