3rd Class entered the STEPS Young Engineers Competition at the start of the school year. They were split into groups and they spent two months brainstorming, constructing and presenting their ideas to improve life in our local community. Just before Easter, the class were delighted to find out that one of the groups called the Static Waves with their idea of ‘SuperPaw’ had been shortlisted as one of the Top 30 Projects in the whole of Ireland! There was over 500 entries from all over the country in the competition. What an outstanding achievement!!
This week, we were eagerly awaiting the STEPS Engineer Ireland online awards ceremony on Wednesday the 25th of May! Unfortunately our project didn’t make the final 6 of the competition but the 3rd Class had a great day celebrating their fantastic achievement! Have a look below at the different groups and their excellent projects!
Well done again 3rd Class!! 🙂
