We celebrated World Book Day in Killoughteen NS today, Friday March the 3rd. Well done to all the staff and pupils who dressed up and made the day a great success. We had Elmer the Elephant, Mr Bump, Harry Potter, Charlie Bucket, Miss Trunchbull and so many more.
The children got to go to other classrooms and participate in shared reading. They enjoyed listening to each others stories and reading together.
We also began the process of writing a whole school story. The idea for the story was created by Junior and Senior Infants. 1st class began the story for us and 6th will finish it off with all other classes adding their chapters along the way. We look forward to hearing the finished story next week.
